This is a busy month with many Fall and Family activities planned!
First of all I'd like to wish a special Birthday wish to two of our classmates:
Bonne Fête Preston! ---- le 9 octobre!
Bonne Fête Julie! -------- le 17 octobre!
In Français, we are learning Fall French vocabulary. In Math, we will continue to count in French from 0-20, and learn about number value of: 0, 1, 2, and 3. These concepts will be practiced in our Math centres, after the value of each is taught.
Today in Science, we started a Fall leaf collection and examined the various colors so that we could use them in a special Art activity. We will be reviewing colors <<en Français>> and applying these words in a multitude of activities!
In Social Studies, we will continue to learn to read one another's names, count the number of letters in each of our names and associate the photos with the names of each student, while reviewing our Bucket Filling skills!
PS...Please note the letter sent home for our Strong Beginning Conferences had the passcode on it. However, if you no longer have the letter please feel free to phone the office to receive the passcode to enter the scheduling website for our Parent-Teacher evening on Tues. Oct.10th and Thurs. Oct. 12th.
