Oct. 23-27th Updates and Reminders

Dear K-PM Parents,

We are quickly approaching Halloween! Please help your child dress into their costume on Tuesday PM. They may also choose to get dressed in theme colors: orange, black, white and/or purple! We will have a parade of costume-assembly in the gym on Oct. 31st at about 1:05 pm! Feel free to join us in the gym!

On Monday, October 30th, we will be craving our class pumpkin. Please ”Dress for the Mess"! Our Library will be on Monday, as Mme Rochon was away on Friday. It is also our regular gym day - Day 3 - where the kids will have a chance to explore the ”Halloween Circuit"!

Many exciting events are happening to wrap up our month of October!

Weekly Updates

Dear K-PM Parents,

As I reflect upon our week at school, I realized that your children have been adjusting to routines for the last seven weeks!  They seem to be quite use to our daily routines and thus, more learning is taking place!

This week we had time to create beautiful fall leaves, using markers, white glue and Jello-powder or cristals. The final results are a blend of fall colours, leaves that are textured and feel like a sandy finish, and smell delightful!

Here are our art fall projects in progress: «L'automne »

In Social Studies, arts and science, we coloured our "Family Trees" by coloring on different surfaces to create a textured tree trunk!

On Thursday, we added our "leaves" for every member of our families!

We also worked/played in a variety of centres to develop our interests, our talents, our team work, our social skills, our problem solving skills and our fine motor skills too!
